The project ran from August 2007 to October 2008 and the exchange rates varied from £1: 300 MKW to £1: 210 MKW. We have calculated at the rate of £1: 260 MKW here as a median. We have saved a huge amount as well by obtaining building materials tax free as we are a Malawian registered charity and are entitled to it.
